A contact from the Priest, whose former church had one of our instruments, resulted in the sale and design of this, our northern-most instrument. In an area of the country where previously-owned organs are relocated with frequency, the Organ Committee of Church of the Advent is to be commended for opting to build a new organ that could be designed specifically for their building.
Each of our organs, regardless of size, is a custom creation. In addition to the visual considerations, each pipe is scaled and voiced for its ultimate home. In this case, pipework is placed on an all-electric expansion-channel that allows the sound to bloom in the room, and will give this client a reliable organ, with minor maintenance, for decades.
Totally encased and expressive, the facade is composed of 70% tin pipes of the 8' Principal. The French-terraced, movable console has the normal selection of pistons, as well as MIDI, and is connected to the organ via fiber-optic cable.
Another practical solution, this all-pipe organ plays the service and the literature of the instrument with authenticity.
